I have the alpha omega elite and it goes up to 40 pounds with a harness. I would love to keep my daughter in a harness as long as I can… which car seat would you recommend to get next after she reaches 40 pounds? Hopefully the last I would need to buy? Assuming I wont get it until she’s almost 3… What car seat do you have your toddler in?

We just bought a stroller for our baby who is on the way in a few months, and now we’re looking for a car seat. Our stroller is not made for babies under 6 months, so we bought an adapter that will allow us to hook in a car seat to it.
Our adapter says it is compatible with “nearly all infant car seats.” Now, though, how do you know which car seats will be compatible with our adapter, and which will not?
